A touch of color

Well, it has been awhile since I have accomplished any tasks around the house. I did get a beautiful hibiscus planted in the front yard. It started as two little twigs and now it is HUGE. I need to get it ready for winter. This past weekend, I planted another hydrangea, some mums and a Henry's Red Rhododendron. The yard does look nice. I still need to spruce up the mulch and get things ready for winter. Outside, we also laid down the wire for an invisible fence for the dogs. My advice on that, hire someone. Seriously, it was a PITA to get it done. Our receiver was not working properly so we are waiting for another one to come in the mail. Then I will start to train the dogs on it. Hopefully they will pick up on the boundaries quickly.

Inside, we have started to pick paint colors. We have picked out colors for the kitchen, living room, dining room, downstairs bath, our bathroom, X-man's bathroom, our bedroom and his bedroom. We have also picked out the color for the basement room and the main foyer and upstairs hall and the hall leading down to the basement. SHEW! Now, we just need to get it all painted. Hopefully that will happen in the next week or so.
